OUR COVID RESPONSE
We are back and open!
One of the first things you will notice is you will be asked screening questions over the phone and again upon arrival at the office. If you are feeling ill, have recently been ill or have come into contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with Covid19 please let us know and do not show up for treatment. Temperatures will be taken and anyone displaying elevated temperatures will need to be rescheduled. Plastic partitions are in place at the reception desks and our receptionists will be wearing masks.
For the foreseeable future the new waiting room area will be the parking lot. Once you arrive we ask that you alert our reception as to your arrival by either knocking on the window or calling us at 519-660-1066. Depending on the other patients present in the office you may be asked to wait outside until we are ready to bring you in. Unless you are accompanying a young child or an adult in need of assistance we will ask you to remain in your car.
All patients are required to wear a mask in the office with the exception of during treatment and only in the treatment room. All staff will be wearing a mask at all times.
Above and beyond mandated guidelines, Dr Ley has installed highly efficient air cleaners capable of filtering particles smaller than a virus. When you do remove your mask you will notice the exceptionally clean fresh air in the office!
Hand sanitization and mouth rinsing will be required prior to being seen by Dr Ley or our hygienists. Hand sanitization before departure will also be required.
Please rest assured that we at Masonville Dental Centre take your safety very seriously. We as all dentists in the province, have strict sterilization protocols that were in place for years prior to the pandemic. You will however notice some changes to the staff personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure compliance with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and ensure the health and safety and comfort of our patients and our staff.
We are pleased to be reopened to serve you with the high standards that you have come to expect.
